Phizzle Launches “Digital Air” to Redefine Efficiency for Pharma and Semiconductor Manufacturers using Air Particle Counters

Key Takeaways
  • Company Launches Digital Air — First Air Particle Counter Automation Platform for GMP/ISO Environments
  • Phizzle Announces Channel Partnerships with Cleanetics and Pedestal
  • Leaders in Instrument-Qualification and Network Infrastructure Anticipate Game-Changing Digitized User Experience

San Francisco —December 6, 2023-Phizzle today launched Digital Air — the only software-defined solution to automate data capture and remotely operate air particle counters (APCs) used in GMP/ISO environments such as pharmaceutical and semiconductor manufacturing.

The company also announced new go-to-market offers from the integration of Digital Air with channel partners Cleanetics and Pedestal Technology, both of which have long track records serving customers who operate APCs in regulated use cases.

“Digital Air is changing the economics of how data is captured and brings a new era of efficiency for our customers in Pharma and semiconductor manufacturing,” said Ben Davis, founder and CEO of Phizzle. “It takes an ecosystem to bring a complete solution to our customers — we couldn’t be more pleased to integrate Digital Air with the expertise of Cleanetics and Pedestal.”

Digital Air’s software-defined architecture allows the solution to operate multiple types of air particle counters in multiple locations from a single user interface. “One user interface across a large footprint of APCs is a game-changer for our customers,” said Deric Haddad, VP of National Accounts at Cleanetics. “We’re excited to be the first instrument qualification service in our industry to include instrument automation.”

Pedestal Technology has built a reference architecture to support Digital Air with 5G technologies to drive faster time to value for customers. “Digital Air is used in mission-critical applications and we’ve built the first 5G architecture to future-proof automated data capture on APCs,” added Jay McDougall, Pedestal CEO.  "Our architecture provides a lifecycle approach to close gaps in OT-IT infrastructure on the customers terms, ensuring they can capture the cost savings from Digital Air."

Digital Air is based on the same software deployed at a Top 5 Global Pharma manufacturer, operating with FDA-approval in the production of one of the world's best selling drugs.
